Strike exposes poverty behind scenes at Yale

4. You Would Think

Yale would use their medical school and medical center to help the community and reduce health care costs for their employees.

I suppose their business school graduates are too worried about avoiding prison after graduation that they can't think to help their community as a whole.

5. Universitys always screw the hired help.

Sure, the professors get between 70 and 150 Kilobucks every year, and some of them don't even teach, they have "Teaching Assistants" do all the dirty work while they work on "Research"...

The BEST of the Service level folks make maybe 40 grand, Clerical makes 30.
Don't ask what the folks who dump wastebaskets and rake leaves get...

My job's 2 biggest draws are NCAA TV contracts and Research Grants ($$$$$$$$$$)They could get rid of the students, join the NFL and the NBA, and become a "Think Tank" and probably make more money...Gee, me and my big mouth...

Yale's spokesman says that Yale is just "serving as a good backdrop," referring to the media coverage of the labor protests

they are so smug and snug in their whatever color is the ivy of their particular tower, that a labor protest means nothing more to them than its video locale media presentation

i think it is time to give another school a crack at supplying our president
