Who can Washington investors trust these days?

Mutual fund managers have lost decades of goodwill in the last two weeks with the disclosure that many of the biggest names in the fund industry bent their own rules to allow some high rollers to make a quick buck -- at the expense of shareholders like you and me.

But for instantaneous erosion of credibility, nobody can match New York Stock Exchange Chairman Dick Grasso, who will forevermore be known as the $140 million man because of the huge retirement package he's getting.
