WMD panel fires FBI agent for sharing CIA document
A presidential commission examining U.S. intelligence failures related to weapons of mass destruction has fired an FBI agent for improperly supplying a classified CIA report to FBI headquarters, The Washington Times has learned.

The incident was viewed by officials close to the commission as an attempt by the FBI to influence the work of the panel, formed in the aftermath of the Iraq war to look at intelligence related to Iraq and other states involved in illicit weapons acquisition.
...
The woman admitted to removing the report and was dismissed with a recommendation from the commission that she also be fired from the FBI. However, FBI officials have protected the agent, and she has been reassigned to another post within the agency, the officials said.

The fact that no action was taken against the agent is an indication that her activities were approved by senior FBI officials, the sources said.
One official said the episode was an attempt by the FBI to influence the outcome of a presidential commission. "The FBI is out of control," said the source familiar with the incident......

1. "WMD Panel" sounds like the subject of a Seinfeld episode!
A group of people sitting around, contemplating the nothingness of their panel.

2. So, the lesson of 9/11 was that the intelligence agencies need to share
information, but when they go ahead and try to share what I consider a friend of the court brief, they get the presidential commission gets their panties tied in a knot?

Shouldn't they consider the information and determine the transgression based on the factuality of the information? If it's bogus information, then I'd be upset. But if it's spot on, you just review it and go on?

6. Now I am totally confused.
I understood that many of the problems of 9/11 were a result of Governmental agencies not working together and sharing information?

Wasn't this the reason for establishing another Presidential figurehead to control and ensure that agencies were working together?

WMD Panel Fires FBI Agent and recommends that she also be fired from FBI? Sure sounds like another case like Sibel Edmonds? Fire the messenger, promote the puppets.

7. Logical Follow-up Question - how might having this report INFLUENCE
the Presidential commission.

1. Just simply stating it does not make it so.

2. Just simply stating it does not mean the alleged influence is not justifiable and proper information to be considered by the Commission.

Ask the fucking question and get someone on the record to substantiate 'what' this INFLUENCE is?

Hint to Mr. Reporter: it is called CONTENT. What is the content of this conclusory allegation.

12. "Influence" is when there is overwhelming evidence of criminal activity
by the current administration, and trying to bring it into the open so that these criminals can be prosecuted, removed from office and punished as they deserve to be.

But anything other than fawning praise for bunkerboy and his gang is grounds for treason being charged!

9. Did she hide it in her socks? Because Sandy Berger
was exposed and villified for weeks for something it turned out he didn't even do! And this woman is being protected for something far worse that she admits did happen!

11. WT has good sources in the government
What we need to ask ourselves is why is this story being leaked, and who is leaking it? The 9/11 fingerpointing seems to go on and on.
