Powell, in Baghdad, Suggests That Critics 'Hold Their Fire'

By Rajiv Chandrasekaran
Washington Post Foreign Service
Monday, September 15, 2003; Page A01

BAGHDAD, Sept. 14 -- Secretary of State Colin L. Powell said today that he was "deeply impressed" by the progress of the U.S.-led effort to reconstruct Iraq and guide the country toward self-rule despite continuing attacks on American forces and critical infrastructure.

....

Although Powell spent the day in a high-security bubble and met only with Iraqis who had been vetted by the U.S. occupation authority, he expressed satisfaction with the pace of the American reconstruction effort, which has been criticized as too slow by many ordinary Iraqis.

....

"We are not occupiers. . . . We are liberators," he said. "

"HELP US, MR. POWELL," one reporter said a woman cried. And the had photos of people who couldn't be found. And cries about sick children. God, this is terrible.

6. Yeah, I missed your FUCK YOU BUSH
good to see it again, and on it goes. We're stuck on a wheel that gathers speed of it's own volition, every day it demandes more blood to fuel it's crazy wobble, bush* and co. are only too happy to supply the fuel.

It doesn't care whose blood, american, iraqi, english, man, woman, or child, just like a junkie with a habit demanding to be fed. Only now, the powers that be are starting to shake their heads, they want to stop the crazy spin, but, don't know how.

While some are scratching their heads wondering how to jump off before inertia flings them off, others are spellbound, screaming with delight, screaming faster, faster.

Who is going to win? I don't know, how do you win when everyone loses?

10. No show at Dover-- base closed to the press.
The military say they are doing this out of respect to the families.

And if you believe that Crap there is a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.

12. Apparently the Iraqis
still think there's a war on. They clearly are not interested in US efforts to "reconstruct" them or occupy them. This is nothing more than a giant oil grab gone bad fuck up that is costing American lives. If we had a free press the entire chimp administration would already be behind bars.
