Iran Says It Will Cooperate With U.N. Nuclear Watchdog Agency
VIENNA, Austria (AP) - Iran on Monday pledged to keep cooperating with the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency - at least for now - backing down from suggestions it might sever ties in reaction to an agency demand it bare its nuclear secrets by the end of next month.
During negotiations last week that led the International Atomic Energy Agency to pass a resolution setting the Oct. 31 deadline, Iran had suggested that it would sever ties with the agency.
