2. absolutely!
*Co loves dead soldiers - he wants to be the one to hug their wives and cry with them and pray.

:puke:

I, on the other hand, am so very sorry that all of these people are dying for the glory of the nasty piece of flotsam that refuses to leave the people's house.

:(

12. Hey! You posted exactly what I wanted to......
What's another few dead soldiers when the coward-in-chief says it was "worth it?"

In other news, how're the plans for the elaborate inauguration going? Is my tux pressed and ready yet Laura? Have Barbara and Jen bought their $10,000 dresses yet?

This piece of shit doesn't care about other people's dead loved ones.

4. Ok, I was hesitant to post this but it seems most important to tell this
and hope that many will be inspired to start hard protesting.

My neighbor has two sons, one is stationed in Kuwait and one is stationed in Baghdad. The son in Kuwait can't get over how no Kuwaiti works. ALL work (except for banking)is performed by foreigners. the country is so rich no man, woman, or child has to work. they shop, play, polo, golf, and travel to western countries to pass their time. The US is their hired military.

The son in Baghdad says that he can't wait to get home. He is just heart sick by what the US military is doing over there AND he says that it is disgrace how the Pentagon has put wraps on reporting the actual number of soldiers killed and wounded in Iraq. He says the numbers are at least double what the press is telling us. I have known this young man all my life since we grew up together. He went into the service a s Commissioned Officer in the Marines. He glorified the military because his dad was a career officer but divorced from his mom. He now has a completely different opinion of the US military and says he will be another John Kerry when he returns home because he is going to testify to all that he has seen AND DONE in the name of the US military. I feel very sorry for him and his family.

5. Advise him that "truth" is an American value upon which democracy depends.
"Truth" is a fundamental value ALL people embrace.

BUT,...the priceless element of "truth" (and "justice") presents a human battleground which has been dominated by those with wealth and influence,...and has been a hard fought element by "the people".

Those who fight for such evolved imaginations as "truth" and "justice" are the ones who prove God's one gift unto humanity: choice.

6. Welcome to DU, hector459
I pray that those who have died find peace with God. It's unbearably sad to see and hear of the suffering that we have brought about. Those who choose military service are rightfully proud of their service and I cannot imagine the pain that many must feel knowing that they've been sorely misused.

8. Please tell them..
Please tell your neighbor to tell their sons to come home safe from this insane, unjust and illegal war.

I hope I'll be in the streets soon, with thousands of other US citizens, protesting this bullshit.

9. War is hell
You can't expect everything to go perfectly. At least that's what the military keeps telling itself.
