Attackers Kidnap 15 Iraqi Guardsmen

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Attackers fired on a bus carrying Iraqi national guard members west of Baghdad on Friday, kidnapping 15 guardsmen and leaving the bus in flames, a guard official said.

Witnesses said attackers opened fire — apparently with rocket-propelled grenades — as the guard members were heading to a local U.S. military headquarters. The attack happened near Baghdadi, about 90 miles west of the capital.

A Baghdadi guard official who identified himself only as Lt. Col. Hesham said 15 were kidnapped.

Witnesses reported unspecified casualties. Hesham said no bodies were found, but he had no other information.

1. And ironically, Ret Gen LaValle is on Fox right now
saying how wonderful things are going in Iraq. He says the good news isnt being reported, such as Fullujah is now the safest city in Iraq. Bull...... The host is agreeing saying the morale of the troops is very high, etc.
Methinks Faux is just preaching to the choir.

2. they are still saying that shit?
Any reporting of the 38 Iraqi Prisoner escapees today from Abu Ghraib? The US apparently can't afford those cheap platic handcuffs and they used rope instead. They got an AK-47 as well! Oops I'm sorry, I need to go look for some Good News!

3. Fox was quick to point out that the escape ...
was from the Iraqi-controlled area of the prison.

5. Perhaps Fallujah is now empty?
That would make it safe. There's nobody alive there.
