Saudi prevents citizens from Iraq fighting

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Saudi newspapers report the government is preventing its citizens from taking part in violence in Iraq.

The papers quoted Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz as vowing to "forbid anyone from going directly to Iraq through Saudi Arabia, but we cannot prevent Saudis from entering Iraq through other countries."
