Tyco and WorldCom bosses for trial in adjacent courts
Times
By James Doran

THREE former executives in America face decades in jail if found guilty in two separate trials starting this week in courts next door to each other.

The first trial is due to begin in the New York Supreme Court tomorrow when Dennis Kozlowski, former chief executive of Tyco, will be retried on charges that he looted the giant conglomerate of more than $600 million (£320 million) to satisfy a taste for opulent interior design and high living.

Mark Swartz, the former chief financial officer of Tyco, will stand trial alongside Mr Kozlowski on similar charges.

The first Tyco trial collapsed in controversy last year after one of the jurors received menacing letters and an anonymous phone call.

As a former Tyco employee (got the boot in Feb 03), I hope Dennis gets his head handed to him.

I'm not holding my breath.

5. I worked for AMP first....
.....and then Tyco after we were bought out. After they took over Raychem and other manufacturers, they would roll the products into our sales territories.

It was so disorganized, that customers would know that we were now selling an acquisitions products before we did.
