Thatcher 'directly involved in coup'

Troubles deepened for Lady Thatcher's disgraced son last night when a self-confessed coup plotter surfaced to accuse him of direct involvement in the attempt to overthrow the regime in Equatorial Guinea.
Crause Steyl, the mercenary pilot who was to have been the star witness against Mark Thatcher had his trial in South Africa gone ahead, told Channel 4 News that Sir Mark's role had been kept secret, because "his mother was the previous prime minister of England".

Mr Steyl described meeting Sir Mark to select a helicopter on which a gun could be mounted.

He also alleged that the Spanish government appeared to acquiesce in the plot.

3. Harry's Nazi escapade

Seems to be an unwritten law in history that some - more or less idiotic - young people do something symbolically just as Prince Harry did. And the entire world seems to be outraged about it, while it just means that other people really do it. Like Thatcher's son, like Blair, like the english soldiers and other "few bad apples"...

I've never seen any Newspaper or mainstream T.V. Station reporting about Bush or Blair or "Sir Mark" the way, Harry's Nazi escapade was reported worldwide. I don't know of any people, who have lost their lives because of Harry...

Exactly right Dirk!

No one was hurt (much less killed) because of Harry's stupid choice of
costume to a private fancy dress party and yet *that* was the item of
news to be screamed from all sources, not the murder & maiming in Iraq,
the ongoing lying from "leaders" nor the failed coup attempts around the
world ...

and just thought it was a business investment.... wasn't his verdict and punishment based on that line of defense? Is there double jeopardy in the court.... did they plan to have this trial after "Sir" Mark's so that these revelations would come to late to effect his trial?

How can you be so CT-bound as to think that the schedule for the trial
would have anything to do with the people involved?

That sort of thing would get you looking in every shadow when we all
know that there is nothing hiding ... well, not much hiding ... erm?
