Mass. Gov. flies home amid terror threats
Better to be there then at the Chimpy coronation .....

Washington, DC, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney abandoned plans to attend the presidential inaugural and flew home Wednesday because of a terrorist threat in Boston.

3. Are you kidding? He probably sobbed bitterly all the way back
...to Beantown. You know he was hoping to get a moment with the King Chimp and beg for a government posting, maybe an ambassadorship. He wants OUT of Massachusetts, away from the corner office, he hasn't been successful at all, people think he is an asshole, and his legislature has the long knives permanently out. He has the stupidest LT GOV in history, makes Swifty look like a rocket scientist by comparison (and I am sure she is cackling over all this).

This sonofabitch goes holiday skiing in Utah, summers in New Hampshire and elsewhere, and can't be bothered to participate in ANY MA recreation. He doesn't support the state, and surprise, surprise GOMER--the state doesn't support him, either. The bum!

5. Should I be worried?
It's so hard to determine whether any of this is even legit anymore after the crap the repukes pulled almost daily leading up to the November elections. I just don't know what to believe anymore!

And, has anyone noticed that things have been relatively quiet SINCE the elections. And now...just before the coronation? All very suspicious if you ask me.

7. You mean martial law?
Could this be it? Could this be where we have to declare martial law to "stop terrorists"?

Conspiracy theory time. What better way than to have an attack be successful? This would assure the scared public that we are still in need of the chimp. And as an added perk, he gets to take out the home state of his rival in the election. COULD THIS BE ANY MORE RIPE FOR A CONSPIRACY THEORY? :tinfoilhat:

8. How odd ...

Nothing about this on the Homeland Security website. I'm just shocked ... shocked I tell you.

I was all geared up for my FireFox extension Homeland Department of Insecurity Idiocy Level to go from Scared to Afraid. (My dream is that it goes to green, so I can see the "Fretful" label.) :-)

9. This is strange
Why did this make the news? Why is this getting any exposure? Like the guy said:

" White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card told the Herald last night that President Bush was informed of the uncorroborated Boston threat at his daily intelligence briefing yesterday morning.
``I'm shocked it made it into the newspaper because I don't think it is something that has been fully vetted,'' Card said. ``It was during the intelligence briefing . . . the president was given this sketchy intelligence. It was truly sketchy intelligence, but . . . anytime you hear the words that surround this kind of intelligence, it invites greater scrutiny.'' "

10. It's a hoax
That's what the FBI have concluded.

I have my own reasons (which perhaps overlap with those of the FBI) -- Um, what group do we hear so much "chatter" from regarding Massachusetts? If your guessed Al Qaeda -- uh, no.

The "chatter" which defames Massachusetts unrelentingly comes from -- REPUBLICANS! Including their own Heilige Fuhrer, George W himself.

My gut instinct -- this is a hoax perpetrated by a Sean Hannity fan type who wishes to "show" how "left of mainstream" Boston CAN be hit by terrierists, with the motive of getting them to repent of their George W worshipless ways, burn the Kennedys at the stake, etc -- and maybe God will raise His protective shield around them once again.

Watch for it -- there will be some dumb freeper behind this....kinda like the DRAMATIC LASER THREAT to airplanes hyped up last week....

The freeper is encouraged that our government is so incompetent that since it can't find bin Laden or the Anthrax Assassin, that this nifty little faux threat to beantown can never be traced to them -- redblooded and tough sinewed American Patriot W Supporter that they are. (I predict they will be nabbed in a day or so....)

The choice of Massachusetts is the key to this "threat". Might be young kids. Definitely male, 24 or younger; some religious insanity....

16. He's a Republican transplant from Utah.
NO IDEA how he won the election.
I have heard from other people in MA they think he won because he solved the Olympics financial crisis, and he campaigned as a moderate Republican. HA. What utter BS we have learned over the past few years.

He came up with this idea last year - the top 25% of each high school graduating class would get a full four year scholarship to UMASS. Needless to say that backfired in his face.

He has spent most of his time chasing the President of UMASS... :eyes:

20. You got that!!!
Most people do not realize how many ASIANS are Muslim. Singapore is chockablock full of 'em, as is China itself, and of course, Indonesia. You've gotta point out the "enemy" to the rubes in the Heartland. It's part of the Evil Empire reeducation process. So now we understand, Hop Sing is no longer the smiling laundryman, he's Osama in a pigtail!!! Be very afraid!!!! Who knows what evil lurks in your Numbah 69, beef and broccoli or your Numbah 17, pork fried rice!!!!

Who wants a fortune cookie?
