Iraqi police ready to turn guns on US troops
Iraqi policemen declared themselves holy warriors yesterday and vowed to take revenge for the deaths of their comrades in the town where ten police and a security guard were killed on Friday in the worst "friendly fire" incident of the Iraq conflict. "I am full of hatred for the Americans and I am ready to kill them," said Arkan Adanan, who was injured in the shoulder early on Friday morning when US troops poured rifle and machinegun fire into three police vehicles that were chasing suspected bandits.

"All Fallujah people are Mujahidin and they care only about killing Americans. We don't care about their powerful weapons, because we know that if we die we will become martyrs."

17. Yep. Hearts and Minds...
...both ears and the tail.

Of course, we have no idea where to store them all.

2. Yeh, well...
I guess we showed them.

And this misadministration has the GALL to say that the Iraqi people are better off now.

Sadaam was an evil prick, but we have replaced him with utter chaos and an occupying army that seems to hate the Iraqi people.

I am SICK!!

3. Bush
the great unifier.

Drawing Sunni and Shi'a, Wahabi and Taliban together.
In two years he has erased barriers which took over two hundred years to create.

8. So what do you want me to say?
A buncha of dehydrated, demoralized, pimple-faced 19 year olds baking their brains out in the 130 degreee heat are scared out of their wits and are shooting first and asking questions later because the US sucks ass at "peacekeeping" AND IT IS MY FAULT?

BRING THEM ON should be BRING THEM HOME.

23. That should be a bumber sticker!!!
"Bring them on" in black text with the word "on" crossed out and the word "home" written above it in red text. How perfect that would be. I know some of my fellow DUers can make it happen. Anybody?

9. The US military is great at winning little wars...
well, except for Korea and Vietnam, but the US sucks at "peacekeeping."

Yeah, it's all my fault that Iraqis hate our fucking guts now. Well, it is all my and Clinton's fault. ;)

10. I can't imagine
what it must feel like to be the spouse or child of someone who is over there reading this. It is a wonder we are not hearing of them running through the streets screaming and pulling their hair out. I could feel my gut churn and the hair on my neck prickle when I read this. And really, at this point what do the Iraqi's have to loose? I hope and pray this administration finds some piece of heart left and brings these men and women home and that $87 billion should go to putting these soldiers and their families back together again, both figuratively and literally as I read many have been injured and lost limbs.

he made a big campaign issue over the song "Cop Killer" in the 1992 campaign.

20. W's foreign policy
Shot first, ask questions later. So much for the idea of innocent until proven guilty. In the occupied lands, you are guilty while being muslim. That's enough of a reason for Rummie's Roustabouts to kill a few more innocent Iraqis.

22. Good job, Dubya: excellent morale and solidarity among these police!
Now, if the U.S. troops can stay in hiding, they should be fairly safe. Hey, I have a better idea: bring the troops home and make them really safe.
