19. I like his message, but...
it seems as if he is going for sound bites. I've heard him speak to smaller groups when things were less prepared and was thrilled to hear what he had to say.

His gestures are too contrived right now... He seemed much more at ease last night with Stewart.

23. I did notice and enjoy when, during the applause, he looked out
into the crowd and acknowledged friends with a "Hey, Ted.... Hey, Joe." I really appreciate his roots as well. Almost Clintonian and will serve him well if elected.

Man, there's a lot of good people to choose from in this group of candidates. There's only two of which I would be really disappointed if they got the nod.

(paraphrased from an Edwards speech)

21. he is better in smaller groups
he does the best when he speaks in small groups and directly to other people who ask questions such as in town hall type gatherings.

24. His speech was awesome!
The speech by Elizabeth was even better. I like Edwards and I have more respect for him. Theis crowd had more African-Americans than I've seen at any of the other announcement speeches. He is incredible with the crowd and mingling. He looks each person in the eye and seems to just enjoy.

I like so many of our candidates.

25. Edwards is a good choice
for VP or President. It's just the real start of the campaign, so he has time to gather steam. My front 4 are Clark, Dean, Kerry, and Edwards.

And Edwards does have that nice charm factro, doesn't he /
