6. I heard this on my local news before

I think it's a woman from Philadelphia. She claims that Cosby came over to her house for dinner a year ago. Then he drugged her so he could fondle her sexually.

On edit: I always like to give women the benefit of the doubt in these situations because it's not easy to come forward with something like this, especially when it's a celebrity involved. But this one seems a little ... um ... suspicious. Perhaps if she came forward last year at the time of the incident while the drugs were still in her system ...

If more facts are revealed that support her claims, then I sincerely apologize to the lady involved. But until then, I remain skeptical ... and I'm not even a Cosby fan.

9. Bill Cosby denies Toronto woman's allegations

LOS ANGELES — A female acquaintance of comedian Bill Cosby has made an allegation against him that has prompted a police investigation in Pennsylvania, the entertainer's attorney said Thursday.

Attorney Walter Phillips said he spoke Thursday with authorities in Pennsylvania who told him they have begun an investigation. He would not discuss the specifics of the allegation — which he called "utterly preposterous" — but said it amounts to, at the most, "inappropriate touching."

No charges have been brought against Cosby. Phillips said the accuser, who lives in Canada, knows Cosby and the alleged incident in question happened about a year ago.

Police in Cheltenham Township, Pa., a Philadelphia suburb where Cosby has a home, declined to comment.

Police said she is making the allegations after leaving town more than nine months ago.

Philadelphia TV station WCAU said Durham Regional Police told them a Toronto-area woman alleged Jan. 13 that Cosby sexually assaulted last January at his Cheltenham Twp., Pa. home.

The woman alleges that after dinner with Cosby and others at a Philadelphia-area restaurant, Cosby invited her home. While there, she complained about stress and tension and was given some pills that made her dizzy.

The station says she told police she recalls Cosby touching her breast and placing her hand on his genitals.
