Surge in visits by Chinese tourists expected
in America ....Chinese get to be the Bush administration's false terror face ...Was Bush pissed about the embargo lift?? Ya never know...

snip...

Tens of thousands more Chinese tourists are expected to visit Britain in coming years after the two countries signed a deal that will simplify travel.

During a visit to Beijing yesterday, Jack Straw, foreign secretary, sealed an agreement that industry estimates suggest is likely to provide $120m (£64m) in revenue a year for the British tourist industry.

Under the agreement, Britain has been granted approved destination status by China. This means exit procedures for Chinese tourists will be simplified. Until now, Beijing has officially allowed only business and study trips to Britain.

The foreign secretary also threw Britain's weight behind a move to overturn a European Union arms embargo on China, in spite of opposition from the US and Japan.

1. Heh, strange timing. Meanwhile the US is on a wild goose chase for
4 Chinese chemists and 2 Iraqis that most likely stiffed their (my theory) Bush lovin' Texan, illegal alien smuggler who decided to put the fear back into them damned "libruls" out east.

3. "Almighty Dollar" originally referred to the Chinese dollar
When that old currency was used throughout the Far East. Westerners were so impressed by how powerful and respected it was that they gave it that name. The almighty yuan might be coming rapidly.

4. Yes, that's amusing if not foreboding ...
If OUR so called *representatives* continue to sell out to the large corporations, well be solidly a fascist country by 2012. Hell, then it will be US (the American Working Class) who will be caring the wealthy Chinese bags up to their posh hotel rooms for them.

Perhaps it's Karma? Something tells me it's going to have to get a lot worse for the average spoiled American to finally wake up from this complacency coma.

I can only hope we can *do something for workers* before we're a heartbeat away from a plutocracy.

Damn! Aren't we there yet?!?
