Paisley: IRA must be brought to heel
Telegraph
(Filed: 22/01/2005)

The IRA must be brought to heel for the Northern Bank robbery before any new peace talks can begin, Ian Paisley has warned.

The Democratic Unionist leader emerged from meeting Hugh Orde, the Northern Ireland Chief Constable, yesterday convinced that the Provisionals were responsible for the £26.5 million heist.

Mr Paisley insisted that any fresh attempt to broker a power-sharing agreement with Sinn Fein was off until cast-iron guarantees are given that all paramilitary guns and crime operations are scrapped for good.

He declared: "There was a golden opportunity which they refused.

without whom the world would be a far better place.

Did he mention how much blood is on his own hands?

3. Paisley is a bigoted fundamentalist asshole.
The IRA wouldn't exist if it weren't for the Paisleys of Ireland's history. He and his followers are some off the most venomous and repulsive religious apartheidists on the planet.

4. When the Brits leave NI, Paisley had better be on the last helo out
He received an honorary degree from Bob Jones University
of South Carolina in 1966 and is a regular preacher there.
To this day, his actual ordination is the subject of controversy.
It was never valid under Presbyterian rules.

Several founding members and early leaders of the
Ulster Defense Association were close confidants and
workers for Paisley. Between 1971 and 1976 alone, the
UDA and its cover
organizations murdered 600 Catholics. Freddie Parkinson,
a leader of the UDA, stated in 1984, that Paisley was "a
tarantula who spreads the venom of further conflict and
has been a major contributor to our prolonged
tragedy."

At the same time, Paisley was promoting the ‘Third force’
to augment police and army. The vigilante groups included
ex-B Specials who formed the Ulster Special
Constabulary Association (USCA). During 1971 the many
small groups coalesced into District Ulster
Defence Associations. Relations between the British Army
and loyalist patrols were generally good — their
presence enabled the Army to concentrate on Catholic
areas.

Ally yourself w/ Paisley and watch your fortunes
spiral downward.

He told us to bring it on, and so have we, like never
expected

8. The underlying current -MI5
The underlying current that runs through the many
controversial and tragic events of the past 30 years -
Bloody Sunday, Dublin/Monaghan bombing,
Pat Finnuacane/Rosemary Nelson murders, Omagh bomb,
the stitch-up of Michael McKevitt and the latest
Stakeknife episode, which includes the Notarantonio
murder and many more - is MI5.

11. from the Steven's report ...
...into British security force collusion with loyalist paramilitary killers which led to a number of murders in the Six Counties Published 17 April 2003

1.3 My Enquiries have highlighted collusion, the wilful failure to keep records, the absence of accountability, the withholding of intelligence and evidence, and the extreme of agents being involved in murder. These serious acts and omissions have meant that people have been killed or seriously injured.

10. Oh, really? This guy is tied to Bob Jones University?
That explains one hell of a lot.

Am I the only one who notices that the United States has exported one hell of a lot of segregation?

9. Important issue......
many Irish-Americans are not aware that the Bush administration is considering attempts at stopping US support for Sinn Fein. They may make fund-raising impossible, likely "illegal," and are close to putting the brakes on Sinn Fein representatives' visas in the USA. This was reported in the Jan 19 "Irish Echo" on pages 1 and 3. I suspect there is likely to be an article on my blog soon giving more details.

14. tried before, the results will be the same
This time there will be a stink.
The policy will have to be disseminated
over networks pushing other agendas-
like eviscerating SS/medicare, budget
cutting aside.

In 2000, Irish made up 10.9 percent of the population.

Together with 12% blacks,15%Hispanic/Latino,
at least 2% Arab (guess), you're talking about keeping tabs
on 1/2of the population.

The War on Terror is the War on Dissent.

12. War without end, amen
Paisley will never sign on to Peace in Ireland. His whole career has been based on war...he has too much vested in continuing the conflict to let peace get in his way.
