15 In Case Have No Known Terrorist Connections

POSTED: 5:29 pm EST January 22, 2005
UPDATED: 5:49 pm EST January 22, 2005

BOSTON -- The FBI said Sunday a Chinese suspect wanted for questioning in an alleged terror plot against the city of Boston has been in custody for months.

The agency also said there is no evidence the woman, named Mei Xia Dong, or any of the other 15 people being sought in the case, had terrorist connections.

The FBI posted the announcement on its Web site Saturday, saying the woman has been at a federal detention facility since November.

Investigators said she paid a human smuggler to gain entry to the United States, and came to this country only for economic reasons.

You know, like in between tv show seasons, they run reruns to keep the masses tuned in? And a B grade show at that!

4. Told you so
Kerry voted against confirming Contradicta Rice so they pulled another bogus terror alert out of their fat arses and aimed it at Boston.

When they didn't release names and/or pictures, I just knew.

9. It's not working anymore
They try to get us all cranked up with some kind of "terrorism scare" with vague background and no details, and nobody cares.

Shades of Chicken Little, anyone?

28. The even sent Romney home early from the "Party" to make it look
authentic enough....poor Mitt...then again, I'm sure he'll be rewarded for his loyalty....

I swear, it seems that there is always something up with these "alerts" that they aren't believable and how many times now have there been so-called "suspects" that they later identify as either already in custody or ruled out...

I don't trust this administration at all...the thing is, I have no doubt that there is going to be an attack by terrorists in the next year, because I think the * administration needs another 911 to take there plans for this country and their control to the next level. I think its going to be huge, nuclear/chemical or biological, and on the West Coast (Boston too) and certainly in a "Blue" state so they can justify taking steps to control people more.

I almost feel that its not deliberate shades of "chicken little" (although some to keep ongoing fear) but rather its a strategy of deliberate "Boy crying Wolf" so that when a real attack comes and people might not of been on alert, this admin will not take the blame...

10. This is just a nice way for HSD to say - we are working hard, taxpayers'
money is well spent.

But every single warning from them in the past was a hoax.

This has quickly become a joke.

FBI Alerts Boston of Four Terror Suspects

By Dennis Lavoie
Associated Press Writer
January 20, 2005

CBN.com – BOSTON (AP) -- Authorities have launched a manhunt across the Northeast for four Chinese nationals described by the FBI as potential terror suspects who may be heading for Boston.

Authorities insisted that there was no confirmed threat.

Federal law enforcement officials said they had received a tip Wednesday about an unspecified threat against Boston, and released photographs of the two Chinese men and two women they were seeking.

The governors of Massachusetts and New Hampshire decided to skip President Bush's inauguration Thursday and returned to their states from Washington.

19. Hey NNN0LHI, I think I found the source?
The author, Denise LaVoie is the same fellow who ran the story first on CBN News.

I've googled his name and there is no record of him publishing anything else? Weird.

Notice the date of this post 01/19/05, one day before the story broke in the MSM.

22. Aren't "false alarms/threats" a federal crime?
I would imagine that any false threat of terrorism would be a highly malignant act constituting a serious crime!!!

It's certainly a helluva lot worse than reporting on a candidate's AWOL!!!

24. It looks like this FBI alert might be bogus?
Edited on Sun Jan-23-05 11:36 AM by DoYouEverWonder
Here is the only source I can find so far of this supposed FBI alert. It was posted on 01/19/05 on a site that looks like an official government alert site, but it is not. It is privately owned and if you look at their link list, they are obviously biased toward right wing wackos.

FBI Alerts Boston of Four Terror Suspects
Filed under: * All News Briefs — admin @ 3:14 pm

The FBI notified area law enforcement Wednesday to be on the lookout for four possible terror suspects who may be headed to Boston.

A federal law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity because the matter remains under investigation, told The Associated Press that the FBI’s joint terrorism task force has not yet corroborated a tip that the suspects entered the United States through Mexico in recent days, possibly bound for Boston.

26. Keep investigating this friends!
Remember the Feds kept saying this thing si no big deal, happens all the time yadda yadda... so they are exempt because they didnt make a big deal. The media did, Denise did who were the first serveices to latch onto this obviously neothug tactic after she released her story. AFter we know that, we need to flood their offices as to why, and who made the decision to carry such a rovian turd of a story.

Happy hunting!
