(US Appointed) Iraqi PM Says Talk of Coalition Withdrawal Is Premature
http://ap.tbo.com/ap/breaking/MGBX55N4B4E.html

LONDON (AP) - Iraq's interim prime minister, Ayad Allawi, said Sunday it was too early to talk about a withdrawal of U.S.-led forces from his country.

Allawi also said he didn't know how many Iraqis would be able to vote in next Sunday's elections. U.S. and Iraqi officials have announced massive security measures to protect voters from insurgents who have threatened attacks.

"The terrorists and the evil forces are trying to break our will. They are trying to stop democracy from happening in Iraq," Allawi said in an interview on British Broadcasting Corp. television's "Breakfast With Frost" program.

"I'm sure that all the Iraqis hopefully will participate, whoever is eligible to participate," he said. Asked how many people would be able to vote, he added: "I can't give you exact figures but definitely the mood is to go ahead full speed ... and to participate in the elections."

4. IF SISTANI"S GROUP DOESN"T WIN THEN WATCH OUT!
The rest of the world thinks this election is a JOKE! Not unlike the US election and the recent Ukranian election and the Belarussian election before it. Iraqi's living in OZ can vote!! In fact the election will probably be won by people voting outside of Southern Iraq. The shia will go to the poles and vote for Sistani. If Allawi wins then i believe no US,British in particular or any coalition soldier will be safe. If the Shia join the Sunni in open revolution then "The Bush Gang" is fucked. But they've probably still got hang over's from their "partying" in Washington and don't even realize how this election could backfire big time on them. LOL

Allawi organized sabotage in Iraq in 1990s

Report Iraqi PM ran organization that carried out bombing campaign in Iraq in 1990s aimed at toppling Saddam.

WASHINGTON - Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, under the CIA's direction, ran an organization that carried out a bombing campaign in Iraq in the 1990s aimed at toppling Saddam Hussein, The New York Times said Wednesday.

Allawi's group, the Iraqi National Accord, rigged up cars and other devices with explosives smuggled from northern Iraq, the official said.

The CIA recruited Allawi in 1992 to serve as a counterpoint to Iraqi politician Ahmed Chalabi, the former intelligence officials said.

Iraqi PM behind ’90s bombings, sabotage

Interim Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi’s exile organization, the Iraqi National Accord, worked closely with the CIA in the early 1990s, sending agents into Iraq to plant bombs and sabotage facilities, according to former CIA agents... Allawi’s group used car bombs and other explosive devices smuggled into Iraq as part of a secret bombing campaign.

Long-time CIA "asset" installed as interim Iraqi prime minister

The insertion of Ayad Allawi as the new Iraqi interim prime minister makes a mockery of Washington’s claims to be bringing democracy to Iraq and preparing to hand over to a sovereign government on June 30.

6. Guess we know who has all the car bomb experience now
Hope the Iraqis don't notice these reports. They might catch on too.

7. Ahh, the smoke and mirror campaign hard at work
Bush: We will move for a swift withdrawal from Iraq.

Allawi: We are not ready for the coalition troops to leave.

Bush gets favors for trying to move us out, Allawi makes the call for us to stay. We keep on the oil game, Allawi stays in power. End of story.
