More US soldiers wounded in Iraq (Fallujah and Mosul)
Australian Broadcasting System

--- Witnesses say one soldier has been injured in the village of Amiriyah, about 35 kilometres south of Fallujah, when a mine exploded as an American convoy passed by.

The US military says one soldier has been wounded in Mosul in an attack with an explosive device and small arms, while another serviceman has been hurt in the same city in an assault an hour later.

1. 8 wounded a day average
according to this site:

http://lunaville.org/warcasualties/Summary.aspx

looks like the American death rate is going down.
