Rapist to serve 18 years in plea deal Perpetrator winks, nods at victims
A wink and a nod from the serial rapist were all the victims could stomach.

Tyrone Davis grinned as he entered the Franklin County Common Pleas courtroom yesterday, knowing he had negotiated a plea agreement that shaved dozens of years from his prison sentence.

The guilty plea was the first time he admitted the crimes, said Assistant County Prosecutor Nicole Scozzie.

Davis, 33, pleaded guilty to six felony counts — four of rape and one each of aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery — and was sent to prison as a sexual predator for 18 years. An additional 21 counts of rape, robbery, burglary and kidnapping were dismissed by prosecutors as part of the plea bargain.

because I would beat the shit out of his ass if he gloated like that for raping someone in my family.

Edit: Then again he'll get whats coming to him when he gets inside that prison.

5. What is the purpose of a plea bargain in a case like this?
How in the world could they drop 21 counts against him? I can understand plea when the defendant reveals state's evidence on a collaborator in a crime or is a first time offender...but what in the hell is the purpose of bargaining with this monster? At 51 he will resume his occupation, I guarantee.
