Franken Close To TV Deal With Sundance
Al Franken is reportedly close to inking a deal with The Sundance Channel that would give the Air America talk show host his own show on the cable TV network. According to US News & World Report, Franken’s noon – 3 p.m. radio show would be filmed, edited and “snazzed up” to air on Sundance in an abbreviated version that night.

“It’s sort of halfway in between what Imus does, which is literally a live show on MSNBC, and what Stern does” on E! Entertainment Television, Franken said.

11. Lying Lyers?
Or did I miss one? Yes. I even went to a fundraiser and had him sign it.He supported the war originally and recently has barely discussed election reform. He treats this as a politics as usual election. He agrees way too often with moderate repuke positions. He has gotten so bad that both my husband and I had to stop listening to him.
I think Randy, Garafalo and Mike Malloy are much more entertaining than Franken.

4. I'm confused
Was it Bravo he was on, and then suddenly wasn't, with no explanation I ever heard at all? I really enjoyed that show, and missed it when it went off, but didn't even see any remarks about it here. BUT, Franken seemed (to me, anyway) really depressed for a while around that time period.

I think this is great news. And I don't find Franken boring, but he may be an acquired taste.
