1. Anti-Iraqi forces? US soldiers are now part of the Iraqi forces?

Is it that hard to say anti-US forces?

--wounded when anti-Iraqi forces attacked their combat patrol--

Obviously they are trying to make it sound like the fighters are only fighting the so-called Iraqi Army and the US soldiers just keep getting in the way.

RIP soldier.

5. The 1ID has been taking a beating the last couple of days
The division has lost at least 70 soldiers in the 11 months they've been in Iraq.

You're almost home Big Red One. Keep your helmeted head low and your scrap metal well-positioned.
