FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FOUR MARINES KILLED IN ACTION IN AL ANBAR PROVINCE

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq -- Four Marines assigned to the I Marine Expeditionary Force were killed in action today while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in the Al Anbar Province.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending next of kin notification.

on edit: 36 U.S. Troops Die in Iraq in Their Bloodiest Day

~snip~
CNN, quoting the U.S. military, reported 31 Marines died when their transport helicopter went down in the deserts of the restive Anbar province of western Iraq.

The military confirmed casualties to reporters but gave no figures, as search and rescue teams scoured the area. The cause of the crash was not immediately known.

Four U.S. Marines were killed in action in Anbar province, and an American soldier was killed in a rocket-propelled grenade attack north of Baghdad, U.S. officials said.

The latest surge of insurgent attacks appeared aimed at sowing panic even as the U.S.-backed interim government vowed stringent measures to safeguard the election, Iraq's first since the fall of Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) in April 2003.

9. 36 U.S. Troops Die in Iraq in Their Bloodiest Day
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=574&ncid=721&e=3&u=/nm/20050126/wl_nm/iraq_dc

<snip>

"Thirty-one U.S. troops were reported killed in a helicopter crash and five more died in insurgent attacks Wednesday in the deadliest day for American forces since they invaded Iraq 22 months ago.

The heavy U.S. toll came amid a series of guerrilla bombings and raids that killed 10 Iraqis in a campaign to sabotage Sunday's landmark election -- a cornerstone of U.S. plans in Iraq."

<snip>

"The previous deadliest day for U.S. forces was March 23, 2003, the third day of the war, when 28 U.S. soldiers died mostly in fierce fighting in southern Iraq."

11. Grab someone on the street and ask them if they care
I care..many Americans dont, because they prefer keeping their heads in the sand.

12. praying for Marines
Lord I pray for these young Marines and their families. I ask you to lift them up. I pray for this war to end, and for the military to be reunited with their families.

Today should be a praying day along with exposing the truth and expanding the light.

WHEN A SOLDIER MAKES IT HOME

Halfway around the world tonight
In a strange and foreign land
A soldier packs his memories
As he leaves Afghanistan
And back home they don't know too much
There's just no way to tell
I guess you had to be there
For to know that war was hell

And there won't be any victory parades
For those that's coming back
They'll fly them in at midnight
And unload the body sacks
And the living will be walking down
A long and lonely road
Because nobody seems to care these days
When a soldier makes it home

They'll say it wasn't easy
Just another job well done
As the government in Kabul falls
To the sounds of rebel guns
And the faces of the comrades
Being blown out of the sky
Leaves you bitter with the feeling
That they didn't have to die

Halfway around the world tonight
In a strange and foreign land
A soldier unpacks memories
That he saved from Vietnam
Back home they didn't know too much
There was just no way to tell
I guess you had to be there
For to know that war was hell

And there wasn't any big parades
For those that made it back
They flew them in at midnight
And unloaded all the sacks
And the living were left walking down
A long and lonely road
Because nobody seemed to care back then
When a soldier made it home

The night is coming quickly
And the stars are on their way
As I stare into the evening
Looking for the words to say
That I saw the lonely soldier
Just a boy that's far from home
And I saw that I was just like him
While upon this earth I roam

And there may not be any big parades
If I ever make it back
As I come home under cover
Through a world that can't keep track
Of the heroes who have fallen
Let alone the ones who won't
Which is why nobody seems to care
When a soldier makes it home

18. The lower picture is very poignant.
I notice that the two little boys have their fingers in their ears, so as not to hear. I think I know how they feel.

16. um no. Here is what he thinks...
There are a few (less than 5) pockets of resistance in the whole country. Those few pockets contain a handful (less than 5) of terrorists. Those terrorists will be hunted down like dogs and found before Sunday's election. Now thw whole country will vote on Sunday except a few (less than 5) people who are not brave enough to stand up to the terrorists. And after Sunday, OMG!! It will be like a revival meeting with folks dancing in the streets and singing to Our Lord that they are FREE! Free I tell YAAAAAAAA.....

This train of thought undoubtedly is the same for freepers.
