Bush makes first trip to Ohio since re-election

CLEVELAND -- It's only logical that President Bush would travel to Ohio for the first trip of his second term.

After all, his 118,000-vote margin of victory in Ohio is the reason he's got four more years in the White House.

"It's probably not a coincidence that he chose Ohio for a prominent first stop after the inauguration," said Alexander Lamis, a political science professor at Case Western Reserve University. "The election turned on Ohio. Let's not forget it."

Bush's last trip to Ohio was on Election Day when he made a brief stop to thank supporters in Columbus. It was his seventh straight day in the hotly contested state and his 33rd visit to Ohio as president.

His 34th visit on Thursday would give him the opportunity to thank his Ohio supporters, said John Green, director of the University of Akron's Ray C. Bliss Institute for Applied Politics.

...every person and "stop" that Bush makes in Ohio is like a bread crumb trail of the help he got in that state....there is no doubt that the state of Ohio was not won fairly....

I was a poll monitor on election day there...there is no doubt in my mind that this election was stolen in Ohio and that there were deliberate attempts to prevent many Dems from voting so that OH was delivered to Bush....

4. Very interesting! In light of the breaking "Raw Story" EF story...

I wonder if he went to Ohio to talk (in an "unbugged" conversation) to Blackwell and others directly involved in the Fraud to compare their versions of the 'fact.' And ALSO perhaps to drop off final "cash" payments for Ohio's "help" in the Elections. (Didn't we hear the hackers weren't entirely paid?) I truly believe his earlier trip to Ohio on Election Day...which was too short to even speak with his supporters????...was also for "unbugged" conversations" finalizing Election Day fraud; and may also have been solely made to drop off a non-traceable cash payment to Blackwell, or someone else "helping" with Ohio's EF.
