Video Shows Allawi Aide Killing |
|
The tape, issued by a group led by al Qaeda ally Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, shows Salem Jaafar al-Kanani speaking to camera before he is shot several times while lying on the ground. http://reuters.myway.com//article/20050127/2005-01-27T163420Z_01_N27677262_RTRIDST_0_INTERNATIONAL-IRAQ-SECRETARY-DC.html

3. Allawi must shudder at this. |

Bush unleashed a horror story with his invasion. The killing of those locals closely associated with the invasion force is a predictable part of the horror.

4. Not only did the Iraqis fail to unite and welcome the U.S. |
|
They failed to unite at all. Now they're killing each other over who sides with us.
Hussein was a thug, no doubt. But at least there was only one band of thugs in power before the invasion. Now there are at least two: the pro-U.S. thugs and the anti-U.S. thugs.
Add #3 if you count the extreme wing of the Kurds in the north.
