CINCINNATI -- A soldier from Anderson Township was killed in an explosion at an Iraqi polling place Sunday, his father said.

Jim Miller, Jr., 22, was helping to guard a voting station in Ramadi against an insurgent attack during Sunday's historic, nationwide elections.

"He loved what he was doing over there," the senior Miller said.

Miller had been in Iraq since August. He had been in the Army for almost two years and had been deployed in Korea before being assigned to Iraq.
