Poll: Confidence in Bush Iraq Policy Slips
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20030918/ap_on_go_pr_wh/iraq_poll&cid=544&ncid=1473

Americans' confidence in the Bush administration's handling of Iraq is slipping, says a new poll, which shows one in five people — or 22 percent — think the administration has developed a clear plan for rebuilding Iraq. Almost three times as many — 64 percent — don't think so.

In April, people were evenly divided on the question, 42 percent who thought there was a clear plan and 45 percent who did not.

The CBS News poll, released Wednesday, found that people are evenly divided now on whether they approve President Bush's handling of the situation in Iraq, with 46 percent approving and 47 percent disapproving. That's down from just over half who approved his handling of Iraq in recent polls.

Fewer than half agree with the president's handling of Iraq (46 percent), foreign policy (47 percent) and the economy (41 percent).

3. So Bush is back where he started from....
before 9/11. They started a war, alienated our allies, inflamed anti-american hatred all over the world, many thousands of lives lost....

only to end up where he was before.

6. not exactly true
The Bush family trust fund is richer because Daddy's bidness is defense contracting, big time. And all the cronies are infinitely richer, too. They could not lose by ruining Iraq. Even if it meant one term, they still make all the money from the war and the rebuilding.

9. Not if the US Govt under Dean
orders a freeze on ALL worldwide assets linking to the BFEE.

And every single dime is returned to the US Treasury, while the BFEE is hauled off to the Hague for war crimes.
