Man Held in Alleged Threat against Bryant's Accuser

LOS ANGELES — A man was arrested Thursday for investigation of soliciting the murder of the Colorado woman who has accused Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant of sexual assault, authorities said.
Patrick Graber of El Segundo, Calif., was taken into custody by Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators and FBI agents, the Sheriff's Department said in a press release.

Patrick Graber of El Segundo,
Graber, 31, was booked and held on $1 million bail.

The investigation started Sept. 8, after security personnel employed by Bryant said they had received a letter stating that the writer of the letter could solve Bryant's problems, the Sheriff's Department said.

A security official met with the writer, Graber, and then contacted the sheriff's investigators. A meeting was arranged with Graber and undercover sheriff's detectives

1. This man supposedly attached to Russian mafia
wanted a million up front, two million after the job
was done....wasn't going to do the murder or whatever himself
and would have to prove it was done.
The victim and her family were contacted by the Sheriff in LA.
The bag with the money..real on top, fake underneath was
accepted by the suspect....

He's a bodybuilder in some gym in LA

5. interesting
I was just over in another thread talking about revealing the name of accusers. Earlier I said that, in high profile cases like this one at least, the woman's safety is a concern.

Sometimes I really hate being right.

8. I don't like this Trial
They are withholding evidence from the defense about her 911 calls. I think it's just plain ol' fashioned racism and Kobe is going to be the victim of it.
