Edited on Fri Sep-19-03 04:33 PM by Dookus
are we bombing an empty field? The article says no one was injured.

"U.S. warplanes taking part in the anti-terrorism campaign in Afghanistan (news - web sites) dropped three bombs that landed about 50 yards inside Pakistani territory on an empty field, residents and Pakistani intelligence officials said Friday.

No one was injured in the incident Thursday near the border town of Wana, 240 miles southwest of Islamabad."

Damn terrorist empty fields! We showed 'em!

Aha! I think I figured it out. We keep trying to bomb Osama where we think he is and missing. So the new strategy is to bomb where we know he isn't and hope we hit him.

6. I think they are taking pot shots at the Taliban...
hoping they will hit the jackpot (or at least scare them with our mighty might).

I just thought it was strange to go around dropping bombs in countries that we are not at "war" with...although that seems to be everyone these days.

10. Oops!
Maybe we need some pyrotechnics here to create big bursts of red-white-and-blue when our bombs go off.

Wouldn't want the Pakistanis thinking India had attacked them, now would we? :nuke:
