32. Yeah, I'd agree but...
this might have been a subtle jab at Bush*...and the softball questions that will be thrown at him. A reach, but I'll accept it with good intentions.

3. What role does faith play in your decision making.

4. Why do so many women admire your wife, Laura?
5. Are you pleased with the big rise in the stock market that you caused?
6. Do you think your vast foreign policy experience will make it difficult for any Democrat to get anything near your support?
7. I'm amazed at how many middle class people contribute to your reelection campaign. How many thousands of people have done that?
8. When will the U.S. attack Syria?
9. Do you think your brother, Jeb, will succeed you in 2008?
10. When will our missile defense shield go online, to protect Americans from devastating foreign attack?
11. What do you think of the French?
12. Describe Camp David and how it helps you concentrate on your awesome responsibilities as Commander in Chief.
13. Did you feel a sense of pride when you landed on the deck of that Navy aircraft carrier, remembering fondly your wartime service?
14. What color M&M is your favorite? And, as a followup, peanuts or plain milk chocolate?
15. Are you concerned about the Midwest droughts that have caused losses in electorally important states?

9. And, don't forget...
Edited on Sat Sep-20-03 06:29 PM by PartyPooper
Which Bush family members will be out campaigning for you next year? Will we be seeing Barbara and Jenna alongside Laura on the campaign trail?

How do you plan to carry all of the "red states"...and, perhaps some of the "blue states" in next year's election? What one accomplishment of the Bush administration will excite the voters most about your re-election?

Will it be as close an election as 2000? Can Jeb 'guarantee' your taking Florida...as he did last time?

What do you think about the "new and improved" electronic voting machines?

Finally, after you have left office, Mr. President...

What kind of ship do you want named after you? An aircraft carrier (like your poppy) or, a destroyer?

:dem:

44. Plus this rough grilling!
Mr. President, how fast would you beat French President Chirac to a pulp if you caught him at a peace rally trying to burn an American flag?

Mr. President, if you could say one thing to the people who doubt that America is a Monster Truck and the rest of the world is the dirt pit inside a stadium in rural Texas, what would it be?

Mr. President, are there times in the Oval Office when the memory of the immorality committed there by your predecessor makes you fall to your knees and pray for the masculine yet asexual comfort of Jesus Christ?

4. Why am I such an idiot?

10. Which tack is he going to be taking ?
He used to be just 'War on Terrorism' and that used to take care of everything.

It is just that after his August holiday, i've noticed him mentioning the economy.

So is this program going to be "Yadda yadda... war on terrorism yadda... evil doers... etc, etc" like normal, or has he changed his game plan ?

11. The other question is
Is this a scripted play decided upon during his August break?

Like in American Football when they come out at the beginning of the game the first few offensive plays have been decided well in advance.

Possibly his speech to the UN Tuesday(?) too.

12. When he went in at half time in August
one of the problems sitting on his desk was the Hamre Report (released late July) which postively sceeched about getting other countries involved in Iraq.

So maybe some of his half-time planning has been on this issue.

I might have misheard in that the interview was being filmed today.

I don't know.

Anyway, at least I know it is indeed not a figment of my imagination.

Also, this will not be on Fox News, but on FOX!

29. "Was being filmed today"
What you mean, I think, is that they start filming today and continue through the rest of the week, in hopes of culling out a coherent 15 minutes. Watch closely to see if Bush's hair and beard stubble change from question to question (or between sentences. or words.).

Broncos vs. Raiders.. About 75% of the nation will probably watch the game rather than listen to Senor Buttface yammer away.

Guess that Faux will lose the Monday night ratings on that. I'm making sure I'm censoring Anal Warts from my captions that night.

Not an interview, not a press conference, just a nice stress-free conversation. No doubt to clean up after the mess he'll make at the UN this weekend. But don't you think this would be on broadcast TV? Or is the goal to pacify the hardcore rightwingers?
