Court Challenge Launched Today Over Calif. Partner Law

A legal challenge to California's new domestic partners law will be filed today in court by Republican state senator Pete Knight.

Knight is the man who spearheaded Prop 22 defining marriage as a union between a man and as woman. Voters endorsed the proposition in 2000, and Knight says the Domestic Partners Rights and Responsibilities Act of 2003, passed by the legislature and signed by Gov. Gray Davis Friday (story) is in direct conflict with the law.

1. While they're trying to recall Davis
why not recall all the Repukkkklicans that are responsible for this farce? Like one Peter Knight that California can do without.
