8 Iraqis killed in market explosion
U.N. pulling out more Iraq staff

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Eight Iraqis were killed and 18 injured late Thursday in an explosion at a market in Baqubah, about 30 miles north of Baghdad, 4th Infantry Division sources said.

The latest explosion, which appeared to be from mortar and was being investigated by Iraqi-Coalition team, came a few days after a bombing near the U.N. headquarters in Baghdad and the same day a bomb exploded outside a U.S. news bureau in the capital. On Thursday, the United Nations said it plans to further downsize its international staff in the country.
