Political clash over postwar Iraq escalates as top Democrat criticizes...
DeLay

<http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/news/archive/2003/09/25/national1625EDT0739.DTL>

House Majority Leader Tom DeLay "is in no position to question the patriotism" of President Bush's critics on Iraq, having once scathingly condemned President Clinton's military strategy in Bosnia, a Democratic leader said Thursday.
Rep. Steny Hoyer quoted DeLay as saying that the 1999 NATO-led bombing campaign was "President Clinton's war."
"It was ... as if DeLay has blocked out from his memory" what he and other Republican critics said about President Clinton's response to ethnic cleansing in Bosnia in 1999, said Hoyer, the Maryland lawmaker who is the second-ranking Democratic leader in the House.

Ya know…I really do believe that now that the possibility of finding WMD are somewhere between zero and nil….some of the Dems are starting to take their gloves off….wish they had done this before.

1. Good For Rep. Hoyer
The reptile DeLay is no patriot, only a partisan hack at best and a traitor at worst.

4. what is DeLay's military record
Isn't he the idiot who claimed he couldn't volunteer for Vietnam because minorities had taken all of the spots?

5. I believe this is the information you seek
http://www.nhgazette.com/chickenhawk_politicans.html

Name: Tom DeLay
Born: 1947
Position: US House; Republican– Texas
Conflict Avoided: Vietnam
Lame Excuse: Choose to enlist in the war on cockroaches, fleas and termites as the owner of an exterminator business, rather than going off to battle against the Vietcong.
Notes: Quoted speaking on Vietnam: "So many minority youths had volunteered that there was literally no room for patriotic folks like myself."
