Powell sees 'convergence' for U.N. resolution
A bit of deja vu

UNITED NATIONS (CNN) -- U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell said Thursday he is "seeing some convergence of views" on a new Iraqi resolution among the five permanent U.N. Security Council members.

Powell said the members are working on language to "capture as much of that convergence as possible and to see what we are able to come to agreement on."

The United States is seeking a resolution that would allow more nations to join the U.S.-led coalition already in Iraq.

1. Powell must have his beer goggles on
the same ones he wears when he says that everything is hunky dory in Iraq. ;-)

2. What does he mean by that,
"capture as much of that convergence as possible and to see what we are able to come to agreement on".

**translation, from Bowel to ordinary English = we don't give a rat's ass what they do here at the UN because we despise them very deeply. The three of us (MaBus, Conda-loser and me, Bowel) left right after the boss set the record straight about sex for pay, just to emphasize our deep lack of respect for Chirac. We think it's funny that they were hoping that the boss would show up with humility and finally be sensible.

Sensible! They just don't realize that Iraq is ours, fair and square. We will never share the $3 trillion dollars that is under the shifting sands of Iraq.
