Host hit in payback crossfire (Tucker Carlson)

Tucker Carlson reaches hundreds of thousands of Americans at home on CNN's "Crossfire," but when a bunch of them turned the tables, he hit the roof.

The CNN talking head said foul-mouthed viewers rang him up - over and over again - at casa Carlson during the dinner hour Thursday and showered his wife and kids with vulgarities.

He said the callers got his unpublished number from Fox News Channel, his network's chief cable rival, which put it on its Web site.

The stunt was payback after Carlson had given his viewers the main number for Fox News Channel's Washington bureau after a "Crossfire" segment about telemarketers. He jokingly claimed it was his home number, but many viewers took him seriously and called.

They have denied it on the air, but before he got his crossfire gig, the pair were on C-Span, and I believe they admitted that they were mom and son.

I suspect he might be illegitimate too, since he plays a bastard on television.

Carlson had his home phone number published by some puke at Fox "News." Say what you will about Carlson's politics, there's much to criticize. But Fox is lower than dirt to do what they did.

After the flood of calls to Fox, the network said it felt "obligated" to set the record straight and "correct Carlson's error."

This is from fair and balanced? The folks who sued Franken over words? But yet they felt obligated to publically publish someone's home phone number? I have no idea whether Tucker has kids, but if he does have children, does fair and balance Fox believe that this did not frighten them? Or endanger them? If it affected and angered their switchboard operator, does Fox not think it would adversely affect an innocent family? It is so easy to get information off the interent, that you can sometimes not only get the address, but a map just by keying a phone number in Google!

Let's ask O'Reilly how he'd feel if CNN did this to him. He and Fox would sue.

I heard him talking about this on Catherine Crier, and I couldn't believe that even the assholes at Faux would do such a thing. This man has a family and they surely didn't deserve this. His wife should sue Faux for putting her and her kid's lives in danger.
