HOUSE WATCH-9/30/2003 (#1) (SUSPENSIONS)
108th Congress

Tuesday, September 30, 2003


The House convenes at 12:30 PM for morning hour and 2:00 PM for legislative business.

All VOTES will be postponed until 6:30 PM today.

The House will consider the following measures under suspension of the rules:

H.R. 2086, the Office of National Drug Control Policy Reauthorization bill

H. Res. 306, congratulating the New York Yankees on the occasion of their 100th anniversary

H.R. 3011, the Bob Hope Post Office Building Designation bill

H. Res. 357, honoring the life and legacy of Bob Hope

H.R. 2075, the Edward Rodgers Post Office Building Designation bill

H.R. 1882, the Arthur `Pappy` Kennedy Post Office Building Designation bill

H. Con. Res. 282, honoring the life of Johnny Cash

H. Con. Res. 159, declaring Emporia, Kansas, to be the founding city of the Veterans Day holiday and recognizing the contributions of Alvin J. King and Representative Ed Rees to the enactment into law of the observance of Veterans Day

There will also be ROLLED VOTES on the following motions:

Sandlin Motion to Instruct Conferees on H.R. 1, the Medicare bill

Pallone Motion to Instruct Conferees on H.R. 1308, the Child Tax Credit bill
