7. The Thugs

killed the amentment to ask for a Special Prosecutor to look into Rovegate. They did it with a parlaimentary device called a "point of order". So no one was able (or forced) to vote up or down on it. This is horendous! The Reptilicans are saying in essense that they don't care if Bush and his boys broke the law! This is the darkest day for American democracy. Our senate just became accomplises after the fact. There is no rule of law.
