2. Yea
not many know, but she has a shot, because its a crowded primary field. I like how Crystle is taking on Hoeffel alongside Specter and Toomey:

"S. Senate candidate Charles Crystle today challenged U.S. Reps. Joseph M. Hoeffel (D-PA) and Patrick Toomey (R-PA) and U.S. Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) - fellow candidates from Pennsylvania for U.S. Senate - to address the job loss caused by corporate abuse of L-1 and H-1B visas."

5. No
Different Skinner. The Skinner running for US Senate in Illinois used to be a liberal talk show host. She's a very talented speaker. I think if she gets grassroots funding, she'll win.

6. LBN Rules.... locking
The rules of the Latest Breaking News Forum require a poster to use the actual headline of the linked-to news article as their subject line.

In this case, the subject line should read "U.S. Senate Candidate Urges Action on Offshore Outsourcing." The headline being used in this post refers to the Press Release, but not to the news item itself.

Please feel free to repost this item using the actual headline of the article. Sorry if this appears to be a bit nit-picky, but it's important to enforce the LBN rules equally.

:-)

Thanks!
