Three Suicide Bombings in Iraq Kill 17
June 2, 2005

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Three suicide car bombings killed 17 people in northern
Iraq on Thursday, including a top municipal council leader and a bodyguard of Iraq's Kurdish deputy prime minister, police said.

Continuing violence during the past days has also claimed the lives of three children, a U.S. soldier and a Sunni Muslim cleric, underscoring the rampant, random nature of an insurgency that has killed more than 790 people since the April 28 announcement of Iraq's new Shiite-led government.

At least 10 people were killed and 40 wounded in a massive explosion targeting a restaurant at 8 a.m. in Tuz Khormato, 55 miles south of the northern city of Kirkuk, said police Lt. Sabah Hidayat.

The suicide bombing tore apart the town's Baghdad Restaurant, where bodyguards of Iraq's Kurdish deputy prime minister, Rowsch Nouri Shaways, were eating, said police Brig. Sarhad Qadre.

1. this is looking really bad!
such an increase in suicide bombings! why are these people willing to sacrifice themselves? is it because they know they're already dead due to depleted uranium contamination?

3. my husband and I had a discussion about this

just the other night. I think it has a lot to do with the tribal society. Revenge is everything when a loved one is killed or defiled in some way. Think of how many hundreds of thousands of these people the USA has killed, tortured and maimed. That is a lot of retribution for years to come.

:(

2. Rememeber where the explosives came from for this carnage...
I am sure the Iraqis remember DAILY how the USA ignored the weapons depots yet secured the Oil ministries.....This is just a horror.

<snip>

I was sitting inside my restaurant when about six cars parked nearby and their passengers came inside and ordered food," said restaurant owner Ahmed al-Dawoudi. "Seconds later, I heard a big explosion and the restaurant was turned into twisted wreckage and rubble. Blood and pieces of flesh were everywhere."

Shaways was not at the restaurant at the time of the blast, which killed 10 diners, including one of his guards. At least 40 were wounded. Kurds, who want oil-rich Kirkuk to be part of their autonomous Kurdistan region, have been regularly targeted by insurgent attacks.

<snip>

The explosion targeted a convoy of Toyota Land Cruisers carrying civilian contractors, damaging one of the vehicles but injuring none of its occupants, the U.S. military said.

Further south in Baqouba, about 35 miles northeast of Baghdad, another suicide bomber killed four people, including Hussein Alwan al-Tamimi, 41, deputy head of Iraq's northeastern Diyala provincial council since January, police Col. Mudhafar Mohammed said. Three of his bodyguards also died in the attack on his convoy; four people were wounded.

5. LIE look! "wading into a crowd" but the bomb was inside this parked car!
Edited on Thu Jun-02-05 08:29 AM by dArKeR
(This was one of yesterdays reports.)
The two bombers struck shortly after 9 a.m. in Hillah, 60 miles south of the capital, wading into a crowd of about 500 policemen who were demonstrating outside the mayor's office to protest a government decision to disband their special forces unit, police Capt. Muthana Khalid Ali said.

The bombers staggered the detonations to maximize casualties, said Col. Adnan Abdul Rahman, who was contacted by telephone in Baghdad. Policeman Jiwad Kadhim Hamid said the explosions took place about 100 yards away from each other and about a minute apart.

"I just saw a ball of fire and flying pieces of flesh. After that, confused policemen started firing into the air," he said.

1. The bomb was obviously inside this car. Note how the bomb inside the car raised the roof of the car!!A child could figure that out.
2. As the eyewitness reports a 'ball of fire', I doubt a body strapped "suicide bomb" could be that large. (my opinion.)
3. How could a body strapped bomb on a person in the middle of 500 men explode and char this car? The walls would be charred too.
4. Discounting all the other lies and the Whore WH/DOD change their story into a 'suicide car bomb', where is the FBI investigating this vehicle for DNA, bomb fragments?

What aWol and Rumsfuk are doing in Iraq is blaming everything on suicide bomber to cover up the incompence/"Lies of Slaughter Invasion" of the WH and the DOD!

I believe the car was empty too, no rebel inside. Look how it's "parked" next to the wall. 1. a car wouldn't be driven so close to a wall. 2. the "suicide driver" would surely swerve into the crowd just before detonation.

6. Don't worry - it's just the "last throes" of the insurgency
Really, they're on their last legs. It's just another sign of how desperate they've become now that Freedumb Is On The March.
