Al-Qaida 'sets up new group of suicide bombers'
02/06/2005 - 14:28:02

A new online posting purportedly by the al-Qaida group in Iraq has declared the creation of a new cell of suicide bombers and claimed it has already carried out a number of attacks.

“We gladly inform our sheikh Osama bin Laden and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi of the formation of al-Bara bin Malek Brigade,” said a man claiming to be Abu Doujana al-Ansari, the head of the new group.

It wasn’t possible to verify the authenticity of the four-minute-audio tape, which appeared on an Islamic website on Tuesday.

Al-Ansari said that the cell came in response to bin Laden’s call to attack US troops in Iraq.

4. Just who is their internet service provider?
It is always "authenticity could not be verified".

Could be:
- CIA, MI6, Mossad, etc. to keep alive the "Al-Queda in Iraq" meme (handy for Bush).
- any of dozens of other middle eastern groups, for their own purposes.
- kids posting on a newsgroup.

11. Maybe this is all being posted on alt.conspiracy.
Bushco considers it a credible source, when it is convenient.

3. I think that the nature of "suicide bomber" business
necessitates setting up new groups all the time, doesn't it?

"They blow up so fast...".

7. If it's NOT true,
I'm not surprised.

If it is:
Poor people are selling their children, or the children are being "stolen" either literally, or emotionally, then psychologically, THEN physically.

9. So who's doing all these demented deeds? As if we didn't know ....
From:
Sick strategies for senseless slaughter:
The cat is out of the bag now
by John Kaminski

"Khadduri's report went like this:

"A few days ago, an American manned check point confiscated the driver license of a driver and told him to report to an American military camp near Baghdad airport for interrogation and in order to retrieve his license. The next day, the driver did visit the camp and he was allowed in the camp with his car. He was admitted to a room for an interrogation that lasted half an hour. At the end of the session, the American interrogator told him: 'OK, there is nothing against you, but you do know that Iraq is now sovereign and is in charge of its own affairs. Hence, we have forwarded your papers and license to al-Kadhimia police station for processing. Therefore, go there with this clearance to reclaim your license. At the police station, ask for Lt. Hussain Mohammed, who is waiting for you now. Go there now quickly, before he leaves his shift work". (http://globalresearch.ca/articles/KHA505A.html )

The driver did leave in a hurry, but was soon alarmed with a feeling that his car was driving as if carrying a heavy load, and he also became suspicious of a low flying helicopter that kept hovering overhead, as if trailing him. He stopped the car and inspected it carefully. He found nearly 100 kilograms of explosives hidden in the back seat and along the two back doors.

The only feasible explanation for this incident is that the car was indeed booby trapped by the Americans and intended for the al-Khadimiya Shiite district of Baghdad. The helicopter was monitoring his movement and witnessing the anticipated "hideous attack by foreign elements".

The same scenario was repeated in Mosul, in the north of Iraq. A car was confiscated along with the driver's license. He did follow up on the matter and finally reclaimed his car but was told to go to a police station to reclaim his license. Fortunately for him, the car broke down on the way to the police station. The inspecting car mechanic discovered that the spare tire was fully laden with explosives."

If this were the only example of this type I heard, I might have let it pass as just a story. But it wasn't."

13. "wasn’t possible to verify the authenticity "
Hmmm, I wonder why.

"We gladly inform our sheikh Osama bin Laden and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi"

Yes, it's all the foreign fighters' fault.

16. The dumb shit "military intelligence" services are right there in
Iraq and can't figure out who or why this is happening and can't stop it.

Considering that it took 20 years to catch up with the Unibomber, and then only after his brother outed him, I doubt that our FBI/CIA?whatever will EVER get the upper hand on even one Iraqi "terrorist".
Shit, law enforcement can't even get a handle on the graffiti problem along the freeways in LA!
