Ringgold teachers plan new strike (PA)
BY SCOTT BEVERIDGE, Staff writer

Teachers in Ringgold School District will strike for the second time this school year Tuesday, even if last-minute negotiations are scheduled.

A work stoppage could last as long as two weeks, postponing the end of the school term to June 30, said Joe Imbriale, president of the teachers union.

"Our interest is to get to the bargaining table ... and (get) a contract. It's long overdue," Imbriale said Friday.

Ringgold Education Association, representing 250 teachers, believes it is facing a lockout because administrators have not rescheduled two in-service days, Imbriale said. <snip>
