Soros: Putin Told Kiev to Fire on Protesters
By Aleksandar Vasovic
The Associated Press
KIEV — U.S. billionaire George Soros said Friday that former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma was advised by President Vladimir Putin to order troops to fire on opposition protesters during last year's pro-democracy Orange Revolution.

He also claimed that Putin advised Uzbek President Islam Karimov to order troops to fire at protesters in Andijan, where hundreds died in what authorities described as clashes with Islamic militants.

The comments by the philanthropist who has funded myriad democracy projects in the former Soviet Union drew sharp response from the Kremlin, which called the allegations "the fruit of his imagination."

Soros, on a tour of several former Soviet republics including Georgia and Ukraine, said Putin had counseled Kuchma to have Interior Ministry troops fire on the millions of orange-clad demonstrators who jammed Kiev's streets following the first round of the presidential election. <snip>

1. Does anyone have anything on Soros' sources here
these are bold allegations, I hope Soros has something to substantiate them. Doesn't he have a blog somewhere?

I figure Soros and his minions orchestrated all the phoney revolutions.. The NWO has colorer coded each of them.. The Soros bunch causes terrorism against states that the NWO wants to take over for their proximity to oil and natural reasources... Screw Soros and his ill gotten billions, may he rot in Hell.. if there is such a place.

5. I saw a documentary "Disbelief" on Sundance
It was about Russian apartment buildings that were blown up, then blamed on Chechen terrorists. Hundreds of people died, it was very sad, people were left without families and these were lower income apartments (why would terrorists choose them as a target?) Anyway, the documentary made a very convincing case for Putin being the man behind it. In fact, there was no doubt in my mind. Sadly, a lawyer was investigating the case for the victims families and guess what? He turned up dead, and I don't think he was the only one, so people are afraid to speak out. But, after seeing that, I don't doubt the Soros allegations at all.
BTW, the first person to call Bush after 9-11 to commiserate on their mutual "tragedy" was Putin.

6. Putin is ex-KGB isn't he? I think the guy is scum.
Bush gets along with him though. As long as they are on the same page when it comes to putting down democracy.

9. That's exactly what Bush would have done!!
Remember, they are soul mates.

If Bush had a close ally faced with massive street demos, he'd tell them to fire away.

And let's not kid ourselves. If that were to happen here, if there were massive protests in the US, and it looked like Bush and company were about to be toppled, does anyone doubt they'd give orders to fire on protesters???
