INS building evacuated!
Firefighters evacuated the Immigration and Naturalization Service building at Eighth and S streets Thursday morning after employees there found a white powdery substance in a letter.

http://www.journalstar.com/articles/2005/06/09/top_story/doc42a87de15bea3340993757.txt

Furasek said some people had been having "issues'' but couldn't say what sort of symptoms they were experiencing.

He also didn't know how many people had been taken to the hospital.

Most of the employees were taken to Richards Hall on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus but those in the closest proximity the letter were in a nearby parking garage.

14. OMG, Bleachers.
You must read the link. It is scary-funny. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050608/ap_on_re_us/chain_saw_border_14

If they were type-casting a Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie, he'd be eliminated as being too cliche.

2. Did you know that somebody sent white powder to Feingold last week?
As far as I know, it was only reported on local WI news (that's where I heard it).

It turned out to be harmless, in case you were wondering.

20. Remember: After 9/11 Dashle & Dem's Rec'd Anthrax...
But not 1 Repuk, if I recall correctly.

Why would someone send Anthrax to Democrats, when most knew and still do that our Democrat leaders are basically against War, historically at that. Why?

Why no Repuks?

Wasn't it found through investigations that the Anthrax was made somewhere right here in the US of A at a military base... VA (?)

Distract and delay has been such a rewarding tactic for them.

What ever happened to the "anthrax mailer"? Vacationing with Osama?

"Furasek said some people had been having "issues'' but couldn't say what sort of symptoms they were experiencing."

Panic attacks and outrage would be my guess.

17. Chemical Spill?
Was the chemical a "white powdery substance" that spilled into an envelope that employees found? And were bright enough to recognize it as a "chemical spill"? Awesome!!
