Alleged Sex Abuser Offers To Sell Interview (Des Moines Register)
Is the world going to hell in a handbasket?????

http://www.dmregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050610/NEWS01/506100391/1001

A Griswold man accused of sexually abusing his stepdaughter, who later ignited a fatal March house fire, has offered an exclusive interview to any Iowa media outlet that meets his key demands: money, editorial control and photos of the teenager he says he still loves.

Brian Street, 37, confirmed through sheriff's deputies that he mailed seven or eight letters this week to Iowa media outlets in an attempt to secure bids for his story. In The Des Moines Register's letter, Street promises that "whoever gives me the closest agreement to meet my needs will be the one and only company I give an exclusive interview to and continue to speak with throughout this entire ordeal."

Street faces up to 60 years in prison when he goes to trial this summer on charges of sexually exploiting children and possessing child pornography. Authorities say Tracey Dyess, 17, pointed investigators to a safe in the burned home that contained more than 65 photos, roughly half of which showed various sex acts between her and Street.

(snip)

The final sentence of Street's letter notes that "even after all this, I would still marry Tracey right now if she would still have me!"

2. If he's acquitted, Fox News may hire him!
But it sounds like this scumbag is just digging his own hole deeper and deeper. Also, whatever money is paid out may go to the victim.

3. "Pedophiles should just
be put down like the dogs that the are" as quoted by another poster.

They are vile, despicable animals that cannot be rehabilitated.
They devastate lives and are a menace to society.

Why waste any more taxpayer money on them? Just get rid of them.

In fact, maybe a gun would be better.
