The public service spots have made a splash for a public-private campaign called "America's Wetland," designed to get Americans tuned into Louisiana's unfolding environmental disaster. Louisiana has lost 19-hundred square miles of wetlands -- roughly the area of Delaware -- since the 1930s and another 700 square miles are on the chopping block unless something is done.
Now, Mr. Bill is pulling out of the campaign because his creator feels that it's straying from its core mission and selling out to oil companies. That's the very people who had a big hand in destroying Louisiana's wetlands in the first place.
