(Canadian) military has first gay wedding in Nova Scotia
The Canadian military is marking its first gay wedding.

Two men, who do not want to be identified, exchanged vows in a small ceremony at Canadian Forces Base Greenwood in western Nova Scotia.

It was the first time the military presided over a same-sex union after introducing guidelines in 2003 dealing with the contentious issue.

8. Congratulations to Canada.
The U.S. Army is debating letting homosexuals join the army, simply because they can't sign up enough straight people to risk their lives in Iraq.

What a difference.

9. I frankly can't imagine
too many gays are all that eager to sign up to fight Bush's war based on lies.

Gays tend to skew educated and liberal, in my experience.
