I've been educated to 'appreciate' the small ones; it keeps the big one from happening. But man, the jolts still get to me.

51. Argh! Wolf Blitzer is an idiot!
Since when did a M 5.3 quake in California require 40 solid minutes of news coverage? And he keeps harping on "third earthquake to hit California in a week" as if that meant something..... The 5.2 in the LA area earlier this week might be related, but the 7.2 off the coast of the CA-OR border is NOT related... Does Wolf listen to the people at USGS and NEIC? Of course not, just keeps harping on "three earthquakes in one week!!"

it was more of a rumble. They are looking into the fact that today's earthquake may be related to Anza earlier this week.

Maybe Anza was a precursor to this quake since it was a 5.2 and this was a 5.3?
