1. I hope that our elected buffoons in Washington are paying attention
to what the American people have to say. They are walking a very fine line (I think).

We need better representation in Congress and the Senate. We need a better calibre of men/women to run for public office. We need to throw almost every last one of these asshats who are taking up space in OUR House and Senate (except for a very very select group who understand their duty to the people, the government, and the country.)

2. you mean that we have representatives in Congress?
The piece of slime that is in my district has not represented me once since he started getting a paycheck.

The pap letters that I get are not worth the paper on which they were pre-printed.

3. GOP lawmakers are now just an extension of W
They are neither listening to the constituents nor do they care.

Democrat lawmakers are finally starting to wake up and quit trying to be Bush lites.

6. As HL Mencken said...
...Democracy is the worship of jackals by jackasses.

Our own political class is stuffed with criminals, buffoons, charlatans, frauds, and killers.

Statesmen? Please.

Here's tipping my hat to the extremely small number--those like Conyers, Wellstone, Feingold and Waters--who prove the exception to the rule.
