Danish police ready for possible attack during Bush visit
Published: Monday, 27 June, 2005, 01:46 PM Doha Time
COPENHAGEN: Copenhagen police said yesterday that they are prepared for possible suicide attacks against US President George W Bush during his visit to the Danish capital at the beginning of July.

“Our whole way of working in connection with the visit is based on the supposition that we could be facing suicide terrorism,” Copenhagen police inspector Mogens N Lauridsen told Danish daily Berlingske Tidende.

Copenhagen police spokesman Flemming Steen Munch confirmed that suicide bombings were a concern.

“Suicide bombing is one of the methods used by terrorists (and) there is a high terrorist threat level” during the visit, he told AFP.
Bush and his wife Laura are due to arrive in Denmark on July 5 and spend the night in Copenhagen, according to the US embassy.

2. You mean it's not legal to try killing other nations' leaders???
Edited on Mon Jun-27-05 06:01 AM by LynnTheDem
What about attempts to kill other nations' leaders who wage wars of aggression by invading other sovereign nations, who arbitrarily detain people without charges and without due process for indefinite periods, who rape, torture and murder prisoners, who arrest and torture and rape children, and loot & pillage other nations' resources?

It's ok to try killing those kinds of leaders, right? After all, bush did, and he would NEVER do anything wrong or illegal!

"In this time of war against Osama bin Laden and the oppressive Taliban regime, we are thankful that OUR leader isn't the spoiled son of a powerful politician from a wealthy oil family who is supported by religious fundamentalists, operates through clandestine organizations, has no respect for the democratic electoral process, bombs innocents, and uses war to deny people their civil liberties. Amen."

3. No! Especially other nations' leader that we installed via
a CIA propelled coup and then supported until it wasn't useful anymore.

NOT those ones! Is that clear? :)

6. As much as I hate to say it, I'm against the DP.
Even for the war criminals bush & Cartel.

Besides, life in prison would be worse than death to them. :)

7. Well for me...
I'd not sweat it if they did get killed, and ended the whole suffering junta. That's just the way it is and the way of things.

8. I dunno.
"Bush - Bubba's Bitch" has a nice ring to it. A life-time of being the "playtoy" of the rougher prison males sounds like JUST what he deserves.

11. Even if it was....
That would be nothing compared to the karma following their anti-christian ways which will never be resolved until death and after. :wow:

10. It would be much better to see them rot in prison
They need to see from behind bars what they have done to this world and what it will cost to repair the damage.

12. We don't need Bush to become a martyr.
Although he might be more valuable to his side as a martyr than as a lame duck with degenerating mental status.

14. This trip is costing the American tax payers at least $800,000,000
I've been posting for years about the money spent by all the "services" who go overseas to prepare for the fools arrival. Months ahead of time and all staying in 5 Star hotels. Booze, prostitutes, golf, massages, vehicles...

I feel vindicated by the CIA spending spree on the non-fool visit story.

15. I think the biggest threat that Bush faces is from the puppeteers!
If they're disgusted enough with his performance they'll find a way for an accident to happen! It will probably look like a terrorist, and they might even be able to con a real terrorist into doing the dirty work. They are always around!

18. Keep him safe. If he gets killed we'll have a 'Fristian martyr' on our
hands. I want him alive, impeached, and in handcuffs.

They can arrest him in Denmark, that'll be OK.
