WICHITA, Kansas (AP) -- BTK suspect Dennis Rader pleaded guilty Monday to 10 counts of first-degree murder, admitting to a series of slayings that terrorized the city of Wichita beginning in the 1970s.

Rader, 60, of Park City, entered the guilty pleas as his trial was scheduled to begin Monday.

Prosecutors had said before the hearing that no plea deal was made.

Rader admitted killing 10 people in the Wichita area between 1974 and 1991...

Neither the boy scouts or religion made this man into a serial killer. Ted Bundy was a republican supporter, John Wayne Gacy a democrat supporter. Jefferey Dahmer was a homosexual, Andre Chikatilo killed many in a secularist state. While you might have your own opinions about either religion or the boy scouts, please refrain from saying that either one created this monster.
